Special Assemblies for a Job in the Job Database

Creating Special Assemblies for a Job - These are job specific assemblies.

While in a job click 'Settings' on the main menu, then click 'Special Assemblies Job'. The 'Add/Edit Assembly' box appears on the screen. Click the down arrow to the right of the ID Box to select an existing assembly that you want to use or type in your own ID to create a completely new assembly, then click enter. Your assembly ID has been created putting a $ sign in front of the ID you created.

Next type in a description and select a category. All special parts except those with a fixture category will be listed in the 'Special Parts' window in the category you selected. Special parts with a fixture category will be listed in the 'Fixture Schedule' special parts window.

Starting with the bottom left drill down window, click on the drill down item you want, moving to the right. When you get to the parts they will be displayed in the 'Select Part' window.

Double click the part you want and it will be added to the 'Assembly Contents' window. Left click the item and enter the correct quantity. Default is 1.
